I have been making “stuff” since I was a child, my father’s family has a variety of artists in previous generations so it came naturally. I taught preschool and kindergarten for 40 years (retired) and now have more time for art.
I mostly use cut paper collage to make pictures that appeal to young people of any age. I have written and illustrated a children’s book, “Harrie Had a Little Ram”, and am working on getting it published.
I am a docent at the Mazza Museum in Findlay, OH, which showcases the original artwork from picture books.
I sometimes make fabric art (sew and quilt) and wool art (spin yarn and knit, felt). I also enjoy gardening and travel.
