  • Marilyn moves to approve; Dave seconds, Approved.

Treasury report for 4th quarter

  • Prior balance: $4,670.37
  • Quarterly income: $1,276.20, from member and patron memberships
  • Quarterly expenses: $1,016.05, from Porchfest sponsorship, printing, postage, COC membership, web hosting
  • Ending balance: $4,930.52

Committee reports

Membership/Programming committee (Robin)

  • Evening with Ellen Fure Smith canceled, will be reschedule in February
  • Evening with Deux Saisons scheduled for January 28
  • Met with Charlie Kanwischer, BGSU director of school of art. BGAC invited to present to BGSU committee folks.
  • Meeting scheduled with Katie Thompson, BG economic development council
  • Pushing artist and art group members on social media
  • Marilyn: Schedule larger membership meetings? Yes, will need to have members attend when voting for board members.

Old Business

  • Wooster property offer – Dave makes motion to not pursue proposal; Lloyd seconds, approved.

New Business

  • Chamber of Commerce Investment Grants – Hire interns to create online public art map for BG next quarter.
  • BGSU library – See if could be used for gallery space (Marilyn)
  • Look into renting popup space for 1 month in downtown empty store. St. Josephs, MI, community art shows can serve as an example.
  • 2nd Art Walk under consideration
