Better Than Ever Exhibition
Eligibility and Requirements
Anyone age 50+ living within 100 miles of Wood County is eligible to participate. Individual artists may submit up to two (2) original works in any two-dimensional medium. BGAC members may submit up to three (3) artworks. You can join BGAC at BGArtsCouncil.com. Work previously exhibited at a BGAC show is not eligible. BGAC reserves the right to reject any work that we consider inappropriate or that does meet eligibility requirements. Size limit is 4’ H/W.

An entry fee of $20 for each artist entitles that artist to enter one or two of their own works (BGAC members may enter three). Group entries are not permitted. Entry fees are used for promotion and activities of BGAC.
Registration Procedures
Eligible artists who meet the above eligibility requirements may complete the online form available from December 15, 2023 through January 25, 2024 on the Bowling Green Arts Council website, BGArtsCouncil.com and mail your check to the address below by January 25, 2024. Make sure the name of the artist is noted on the check. You may also pay online here.
You may also mail or drop off the entry form with your check for $20 payable to BGAC to:

Registration Fees/Forms must be postmarked / delivered to the Senior Center by January 25
Preparing Your Work for Entry
All work must be properly presented. Paintings, photos, drawings, etc. must be framed; works on paper must be framed under glass or acrylic. Wood frames must have inside mounted screw eyes with sturdy wire securely attached. Metal frames must have wire attached to hangers on each side of the back of the frame. Labels should be attached to the upper right-hand corner on the front of each entry. Show labels will be provided for display based on the information submitted on the Registration Form. Label information cannot be changed at intake. Make sure you consider the cost of framing when you price your work. Sales and Insurance
You may sell your artwork at this show. No commissions will be taken. Sale prices OR “not for sale” should be marked clearly on entry forms. Work will not be insured. Neither the BG Arts Council nor the Wood County Committee on Aging will be responsible for any damage or loss of the artwork.
Liability
Delivering an entry to this exhibition shall constitute agreement with all conditions in this prospectus.
